Meet America, a playful Bull Terrier mix available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! America’s backstory is a bit jumbled, but the basic gist that shelter staff was able to gather was that America lived with a local family, but was too hyper to be a good fit. She’s a good girl who enjoyed living with children ages two months to 13 years old, but she could use a forever family who is familiar with the Bull Terrier breed and has the time and patience to work with her on polished doggy manners. She also really loves toys and can charm you for hours with her playful antics! America was a Vet Tech girl, so she’s fully vetted and ready to go when her forever family walks through the shelter’s doors … are you the family who wants to show off their patriotism and give America her forever home? Anyone interested in America, please check the link above for hours of operation and adoption requirements (meet and greets are a must!). Once your application has been approved, you get to take America home that day! Any additional questions, please email Chris Browder at cbrowder@cityofshelbyvillein.com or call at (317) 392-5127.
