Did you know that approximately 1.5 million animals are euthanized in shelters each year? According to the ASPCA, this number is down from the 2.6 million reported in 2011 (and the 17 million back in 1984), but to me, it’s still 1.5 million too many innocent lives wasted. Until this country can be entirely no-kill, I want to do whatever I can, no matter how small, to make a difference.
I will feature dogs up for adoption on Mutt Mondays, animals OTHER than dogs and cats on Wild Wednesdays and cats on Feline Fridays. I will also feature a rescue or shelter (and the people who work hard to make them possible!) once a week. Share, spread the word and let’s get these animals forever homes so this can become a no-kill country.
I believe all life matters. I believe we are all God’s precious creations. And I believe that every creature deserves a loving, forever home. ❤🐾
