Meet Styles and Mickey, a sweet pair of five year-old Beagle brothers available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! These boys were picked up by animal control and the shelter wasn’t surprised to see them since Styles is a frequent visitor due to his incredible ability to escape (and Mickey follows along, of course!). The owners were contacted about their most recent escape and eventually decided to go ahead and relinquish them. This adorable pair has lived mostly outside during their lives (so the previous owner wasn’t sure of the extent of their being housebroken), but they’re great on a leash and wonderful with kids and other dogs! They can be adopted together, but it’s not a requirement (though I don’t know how those sweet boys could be separated after five years together … look at those faces!). The adoption fee is $95 for each, which covers the neuter surgery, rabies/booster vaccinations, wormer, Home Again microchip (for Mickey) and chip change (for Styles) and registration. Mickey & Styles are …
– a pair of five year-old brothers who don’t necessarily need to be adopted together, but they’ve been together their whole lives.
– great on leash, but escape artists due to the fact that they’re master diggers!
– great with children and other dogs!
– used to being outdoor dogs, so the extent of them being housebroken is a big question mark.
