Meet Saphira, a gorgeous one and a half year-old Labrador/Shepherd mix available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Dropped off at the shelter on Sunday after hours with her best friend, Franky, the report originally stated the two were found abandoned, but after being checked for microchips their owner was found. She claimed to be in the process of moving and came to the shelter, but for reasons known only to her, only claimed Franky. Poor Saphira! She was left lonely, confused and missing her best friend, but thanks to the amazing volunteers at the shelter she’s been spoiled with treats, taken on long walks (she has amazing leash manners!) and given lots of love! Saphira’s adoption fee is $95, which covers her spay surgery, rabies/booster vaccinations, wormer, Home Again microchip and registration.
