Meet Jack, a tender-hearted three year-old English Bulldog/Chihuahua mix available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Jack has had three names and three owners since he was originally relinquished as a puppy back in March of 2016, but it hasn’t taken away his loving spirit! With his adorable overbite, the hug he gives every visitor to his kennel and his constant desire to please his people, Jack is such a lovebug … how can you resist him? He was surrendered by his second and third owners because, although he’s such a lover and enjoys toys, he played a bit rough with small children, so he’ll need to go to a home that either is child-free or has older kids. Are you his loving fourth owner who will be his forever home? Anyone interested in Jack, please check the link above for hours of operation and adoption requirements (meet and greets are a must!). Once your application has been approved, you get to take Jack home that day! Any additional questions, please email Chris Browder at cbrowder@cityofshelbyvillein.com or call at (317) 392-5127.
