Meet Torque! *UPDATE: ADOPTED!!!*

Meet Torque, a spunky not-quite one year-old Labrador/Great Dane mix available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Torque was born in July of last year and due to two moves, he’s been a visitor at this loving shelter twice in his young life through no fault of his own. He’s been deeply loved by his two previous owners, so he knows love and has the good manners and sweet disposition to prove it, whether it’s his love of children, his friendliness towards cats and other dogs or his love of playing with everyone and everything! Do those dark eyes call to your soul to take this big, lovebug home to be a part of your forever family? Anyone interested in Torque, please check the link above for hours of operation and adoption requirements (meet and greets are a must!). Once your application has been approved, you get to take Torque home that day!  Any additional questions, please email Chris Browder at cbrowder@cityofshelbyvillein.com or call at (317) 392-5127.

Torque is …
– very sweet and also very smart (he knows the commands for sit, shake and stay). And although he’s still a puppy, there have been no problems with destructive puppy behavior, such as chewing.
– good with children, cats and other dogs.
– housebroken.
– neutered.
– microchipped.
– up-to-date on his vaccinations.
– FREE to his forever, loving home!

*Please check out my posts on fellow long-term residents BearOnyx and Kiki who are also still looking for their forever homes. And I strongly encourage you to look at my feature on this shelter, it’s really an amazing place to find your next furry family member!*
