Meet Pumpkin, an adorable and easygoing two year-old Pit Bull/Lab/Hound mix available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Pumpkin was adopted approximately six weeks ago by someone who loved her, but unfortunately found out too late that her lease agreement did not allow any dogs with Pit Bull to remain in the home. How unfair for poor Pumpkin! She’s a very sweet girl and, although shy to start, warms up quickly and loves pretty much everyone and everything (although she can be a bit picky with her canine friends. so a meet-and-greet with any other dogs in the home is a must!). Do you want Pumpkin to spice up your life and return her unconditional love? Anyone interested in Pumpkin, please check the link above for hours of operation and adoption requirements (meet and greets are a must, especially if there are any other pets in the home!). Once your application has been approved, you get to take Pumpkin home that day! Any additional questions, please email Chris Browder at cbrowder@cityofshelbyvillein.com or call at (317) 392-5127.
Pumpkin is …
– a sweet and easygoing girl looking for a family to look past her breed and be her forever family.
– wonderful with children and is good with cats (she’s lived with them), but can be picky about her dog friends, so a meet-and-greet is a must!
– housebroken.
– spayed.
– microchipped.
– up-to-date on her vaccinations, wormed and heartworm negative.
– FREE to a loving, forever home!
*Please check out my post on fellow residents Bear, Onyx and Kiki who are also still looking for their forever homes. And I strongly encourage you to look at my feature on this shelter, it’s really an amazing place to find your next furry family member!*
