Meet Rumor (aka Ruby Roo), a loving and friendly four year-old Staffordshire Terrier/Bulldog mix available for adoption through Canine Castaways Rescue! Rumor’s DNA was tested and is 87.5% Staffie, 12.5% Bulldog, but she’s 100% sweetheart … she loves to use those big smooshy lips of hers to give her people lots of kisses! Ruby Roo had a rough start in life, being in and out of the city shelter four times in the last two years (through no fault of her own) and all she wants is a forever home. After being picked up by animal control and being in the shelter, Rumor has developed a particular fear of men in hats and can be very shy when she first meets new people. Due to Ruby Roo being a big girl at 88 pounds, she will need to go to a home with children 10 or older … she also needs to be the only pet because she won’t want to share her people snuggles with any other fur siblings!
