Meet Callie Mae, a sweet and young-at-heart nine year-old Boxer/Maastiff mix available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Poor Callie Mae … she was in such a loving home and had her buddy, Gus (formerly Columbus, who was a resident at the shelter last year), but her mom’s landlord sold the house and she wasn’t able to keep her pups. Her mom was sobbing when she dropped off Callie and Gus and insists she be called when her babies find loving forever homes, so let’s help make that happen! Callie has a sensitive stomach and is currently on Beneful Digestive Health, so that will need to continue in her new home. Callie is not destructive in any way and is so playful … you’d never know she was a senior! Also, Callie has always been an inside dog and will need to stay an inside dog! Are you the loving, forever home that this sweet girl deserves?
