Meet King, a gorgeous one year-old Pit Bull available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! King (along with his brother, Kane, who has since been adopted) was a victim of abuse and neglect and his former “owner” (I use that term VERY loosely) is now going to be prosecuted. King and Kane were lucky to be chosen for the Vet Tech program and now this handsome boy is ready for a real forever home where he can be loved, spoiled and know what it’s like to truly be cherished. King has such a trusting and forgiving heart, despite his past abuse, and bonds quickly to people who show him kindness … he LOVES being loved! King is wonderful with children, but due to his breed his potential adopters MUST own their own home, no rentals (too many past landlord issues with regards to Pit Bulls on property).
