Meet Esme, a sweet two year-old silver tabby available for adoption at the Hancock County Humane Society! Esme spent the last couple of months in a foster home raising her kitten, Edgar, and now it’s her turn to find her forever home! She absolutely loves attention and will rub against your legs, hoping for (or more like demanding!) your love and and snuggles. She does just fine with other cats and got along well with the small dog in her foster home, but isn’t a big fan of small children (especially when they try to pick her up). Do you have room in your home and heart for this sweet silver beauty? If you’re interested in adopting Esme, two shelter visits are required before the adoption can be completed and adoption fees vary based on age of cat, age of adopter, etc., so please click the link above for more information.
Esme is …
– very sweet and adores attention!
– good with dogs and other cats, but needs to be in a home without small children (10 or older, at least).

– up-to-date on her vaccinations, wormed and tested negative for fiv/FeLV.
