Meet Fatima! *SPECIAL NEEDS* *UPDATE: ADOPTED!!!*

Meet Fatima, a beautiful one and a half year-old old brown mackerel tabby available for adoption through the Hancock County Humane Society! She is sweet and loving, a gentle soul with gorgeous golden eyes and longing to find her forever home. She is currently being treated for juvenile periodontal disease, which basically means that her gums were overgrown resulting in pockets where bacteria and plaque could get trapped, causing inflammation and infection. Her only special need is that she will require daily toothbrushing and a dental diet, such as Hill’s t/d, but with continued care she should grow out of the condition by two years of age. Two shelter visits are required before the adoption can be completed and adoption fees vary based on age of cat, age of adopter, etc., so please click the link above for more information.
