Meet Lizzie, a lovable one year-old domestic shorthair available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Lizzie was found as a stray at the end of March and taken to Vet Tech where it was discovered that she had already been spayed … this poor girl evidently had a home, but was never reunited with her former owner. She’s now back at the shelter, fully vetted and FREE to her loving, forever home! Lizzie is an absolute sweetheart and is good with people and animals alike … are you the family that’s meant to love Lizzie forever? Anyone interested in Lizzie, please check the link above for hours of operation and adoption requirements (meet and greets are a must, especially if you have other pets in the home!). Once your application has been approved, you get to take Lizzie home that day! Any additional questions, please email Chris Browder at cbrowder@cityofshelbyvillein.com or call at (317) 392-5127.
