Meet Digits, a curious tiger-striped polydactyl (Ernest Hemingway) cat available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Digits was brought in as a stray (so his history is a mystery), but this boy is a curious fellow who enjoys making friends with the other kitties. In fact, he’s so friendly that he would rather socialize than play with toys or eat his food! He’s also good with people (including children) and loves being handled … are you the forever family that has extra room for this extra-toed kitty. Because he’s still intact, Digits’s adoption fee is $30, which covers his neuter surgery, rabies/booster vaccinations and wormer. Anyone interested in Digits, please check the link above for hours of operation and adoption requirements (meet and greets are a must, especially if there are other pets in the home!). Once your application has been approved, you get to take Digits home that day! Any additional questions, please email Chris Browder at cbrowder@cityofshelbyvillein.com or call at (317) 392-5127.
