Meet Farrah, a fabulously coiffed four year-old Lionhead available for adoption through the Indiana House Rabbit Society! Farrah was surrendered when her owner moved (I’m giving the benefit of the doubt and assuming it was an international move that didn’t allow rabbits, ahem), and as you can assume, she got her name because of her amazing hair! She’ll need an owner fluent in bunny, someone who knows to approach her slowly and with caution, because if startled she might lunge. Luckily, as soon as you touch her she absolutely melts and you could pet and snuggle her for hours … she’s such a cuddle bun! Are you a bunny pro and super savvy when it comes to working with cautious rabbits? Do you think you can handle having a bun whose hair just might look better than yours? If you want Farrah to be a part of your forever family, please fill out the adoption questionnaire and check the link on adopting a rabbit from the Indiana House Rabbit Society. Farrah’s adoption fee is $65 (which helps cover her spay surgery) and she’ll come home with a small bag of hay, a small bag of pellets and her veterinary history.
Farrah is …
– apt to lunge out of unease if you try to grab her quickly, but not out of aggression.
– an absolute cuddle bun when you get ahold of her … she melts into a puddle!
– litter-box trained.
– spayed.
I’ve included a link on keeping rabbits as pets from the Indiana House Rabbit Society … there’s tons of great information on their website!
