Meet Missy, a gorgeous young-at-heart 13 year-old buff and white shorthair available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Missy’s owner had to go into an assisted living facility and was left in the home for a few months, though a team of caregivers came frequently to give her food, water and affection. Finally, someone made the wonderful decision to surrender her to the shelter in order to give her another chance at a forever home. Please don’t let her age deter you from adopting this incredibly sweet girl … she doesn’t act her age and she’s incredibly healthy with perfect teeth and impeccable manners.
