Meet Max, a spirited foxhound mix available for adoption through the Hancock County Humane Society! He was found wandering around by one of the shelter volunteers and is currently in a foster home, waiting for his forever family to adopt him and give him the life he deserves. He’s a happy and playful boy that loves snuggling and taking walks. but make sure he’s harnessed because he gets so excited. His favorite thing to do is play, whether it’s being silly with his toys or playing fetch! He loves other dogs, but enjoys chasing kitties too much to have a feline sibling in the home. He’s a friendly boy and smart boy that knows commands like “sit” and “stay” and “out”, but yelling makes him nervous and scared … we have no idea what his life was like before being rescued, so please be gentle and patient with Max. Will anyone out there please give sweet Max his forever home?
