Meet Gus, a friendly one year-old Shepherd mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Gus was surrendered to the shelter when his former owners could no longer take care of him and although he was slightly nervous when he first arrived, he has adapted well and loves everyone he meets! Gus loves playing with rope toys and has a very fun and energetic personality, but he can also be very laid-back and chill. Gus seems to do well with the other dogs at the shelter, but a meet-and-greet with any other pets in the home is a must and he is untested with children and other animals. Are you looking for a fun and sweet companion to keep you active and make you smile? All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Gus’s adoption fee is $150, which covers his vaccinations, neuter surgery and microchip registration.
