Meet Marlowe, a fetching two year-old Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Marlowe was a bit timid when he first came to the shelter, but quickly warmed up and now comes to the staff for as many hugs and cuddles as possible! Marlowe is a big boy at almost 80 pounds and believes he’s a lap dog, but it’s all in love when he jumps up for attention. Although he’s untested with children and other animals, Marlowe seems to do well with the other dogs at the shelter (though a meet-and-greet with all family members would be a must!). Is your lap big enough for all the love this big sweetie wants to give to his forever family? All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Marlowe’s adoption fee is $150, which covers his vaccinations, neuter surgery and microchip registration.
