Meet Barley, a cuddly 11 month-old Havana rabbit available for adoption at IndyCLAW Rescue! Barley came to the rescue in January of 2023 from Indianapolis Animal Control after being surrendered by his owner. Barley is a calm and sweet boy that enjoys being held and cuddled and would make a great bonding candidate for a single female looking for a husbun! Barley would be a great rabbit for a first-time owner and would also do well with respectful children who understand the fragility of bunnies. Although his litter-box habits have greatly improved, he will need a patient forever family that can understand he’s still learning the process. If you think this sweet boy would be a great fit for your family, hop on over to IndyCLAW and fall in love with this adorable honey bun! Barley’s adoption fee is $80, but if you want double the fun, adopt two and the adoption fee is $120 for the pair! For more information on Barley, please visit IndyCLAW‘s website or email adopt@indyclaw.org … visits are by appointment only!
Barley is …
– extremely sweet and enjoys being held and cuddled.
– good with cats and children and potentially a good bonding candidate for a female bunny.
– litter-box trained, though he still needs a patient owner who understands he’s still learning.
– neutered.
*I have a link to IndyCLAW’s rabbit adoption information page. It has tons of great information and things you need to consider before adopting a rabbit and giving it a forever home. Please read this information thoroughly, especially if you are looking to adopt your first bunny! I personally have adopted from this rescue and it was such a wonderful experience!*
