Meet Cowl, a feral nine month-old domestic shorthair cat available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Cowl is not a social girl and does not enjoy a lot of attention from humans, but she is an excellent mouser and would do well as a barn cat. Cowl is a simple girl with simple tastes and all she wants is a safe place to sleep and food to fill her belly … do you have room for this beautiful mouser on your farm? All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Cowl’s adoption fee is $50, which covers her vaccinations and spay surgery.
