Meet Altair, a chatty seven-and-a-half year-old domestic shorthair cat available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Altair loves to talk to all of his visitors and makes friends easily, enjoying all the pets and attention a person is able to give him! The vet believes that Altair has some gastrointestinal issues that could be easily regulated with a special diet, but it would need to be ongoing treatment as needed (the shelter is happy to provide more information on this). Altair is untested with children and other animals, although with his social nature he hardly meets a stranger! Is this St. Patrick’s Day a lucky day for this sweet boy? All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Altair’s adoption fee is $50, which covers his vaccinations and neuter surgery.
