Meet Rue, a sweet-as-pie two year-old Pit Bull Terrier available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Rue was recently relinquished by her owner due to an incident with another animal in the home and she will need to be the only animal in her new forever home (no exceptions!). While Rue is NOT good with other animals, she’s amazing with people, adores children and loves to snuggle on the couch! She is housebroken, crate-trained (though she is NOT destructive when left alone outside of her crate), knows the command for “sit” and is currently working on her leash manners. Rue’s $95 foster-to-adopt fee will cover her spaying, vaccinations and Home Again microchip and registration. Anyone interested in Rue, feel free to stop by any weekday between the hours of 10:30 AM and 4:30 PM and please check the link above for adoption requirements (due to her breed you MUST own your own home!).
