Meet Momma, a loving and young-at-heart 10 year-old Pit Bull Terrier available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Poor Momma has been at the shelter for over 250 days and is more than ready to spend her golden years in a loving, forever home. She loves snuggling, playing with toys and laying down for belly rubs, but definitely prefers humans to other animals and would be best as the only pet in the home. She is such a sweet a loving girl with two strikes against her in the eyes of society (a senior dog and a Pittie to boot) … won’t you give her a chance to share her heart with you? Anyone interested in Momma, feel free to stop by the shelter any weekday between the hours of 10:30 AM and 4:30 PM and please check the link above for adoption requirements (due to her breed, you MUST own your own home!).
