Meet Rosa Parks, a super-friendly three-and-a-half year-old brown tabby cat available for adoption through the Hancock County Humane Society! Sassy Miss Rosa did a great job raising her litter of six kittens, but now she’s more than ready for her very own loving forever home. Rosa is the unofficial welcoming committee for the shelter, greeting visitors as they enter the building and making her presence known with happy meows begging for you to pet her. She is very energetic and playful and does well with kids, but Rosa doesn’t want to share your attention with other felines in the home and would be best as the only cat. Is your home purrfect for this friendly girl? Shelter hours are by appointment only on Saturdays and the shelter is closed on holidays. Two shelter visits are also required before the adoption can be completed and adoption fees vary based on age of cat, age of adopter, etc., so please click the link above for more information.
Rosa Parks is …
– extremely friendly and loves to socialize with people!
– good with children, but best as the only cat in the home.
– litter-box trained.
– up-to-date on her vaccinations.
