Meet Koda, a handsome two year-old Great Pyrenees available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Koda was recently relinquished to the shelter because he was not good with the previous owner’s child, so a home without children would be ideal. This gentle giant also wants ALL your attention, so he needs to be the only pet in the home (no other dogs and no cats, please!). His previous owner had had him shaved, but his gorgeous floofy Great Pyrenees coat is slowly starting to grow out and he’s one handsome fellow! He is an absolute doll with everyone at the shelter, but be warned … he’s very strong on a leash! Koda is housebroken, neutered up-to-date on all his vaccinations and wormed and his $30 adoption fee will cover his Home Again microchip and registration. Are you the forever home that’s ready for this giant cuddlebug? Anyone interested in Koda, feel free to stop by any weekday between the hours of 10:30 AM and 4:30 PM and please check the link above for adoption requirements. Once your application has been approved, you get to take Koda home that day! Any additional questions, please email Chris Browder at cbrowder@cityofshelbyvillein.com or call at (317) 392-5127.
