Meet Paloma, an adorable eight year-old female Pit Bull mix available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Poor Paloma was surrendered recently when her lifelong owner’s schedule became too hectic and he had to start traveling all the time for work (and had no family to help take care of his sweet dog). She and her owner were a dynamic duo and it must be so hard on her to suddenly be ripped from a loving home she’s known her whole life. Although she has been an only pet and did not live with children, she’s an absolute lover and her butt never stops wiggling with joy when she sees people! Paloma is a darling girl who just wants a forever family that can cuddle and play with her for the rest of life … are you the lucky recipient of her butt-wiggling devotion? Her adoption fee of $95 covers her spay surgery, rabies/booster vaccination, Home Again microchip and registration and flea preventative. Anyone interested in Paloma, please check the link above for hours of operation and adoption requirements (meet and greets are a must and due to her breed you MUST own your own home!). Once your application has been approved, you get to take Paloma home that day! Any additional questions, please email Chris Browder at firstname.lastname@example.org or call at (317) 392-5127.
Paloma is …
– a very sweet girl whose butt never stops wiggling with happiness!
– untested with cats, children and other dogs, but loves all people and would probably be a good fit in a home with older children.
– current on parvo/distemper vaccine, wormer and flea preventative.
