Meet Kratos, a happy-go-lucky six year-old Pit Bull mix available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Kratos was originally relinquished to the shelter in October of 2016 because his owner said he was too hyper. He was accepted into the vet tech program and came back two months later turnkey ready and hoping to find his forever home! He was quickly adopted, but it wasn’t discovered until he was brought back to the shelter last month that he was almost immediately rehomed to another family after being adopted (this is a no-no … the shelter wants their animals back if it doesn’t work!). Kratos is fantastic with older children, loves car rides and knows how to sit on command, but would be best as the only pet in the home. Anyone interested in Kratos, please check the link above for hours of operation and adoption requirements (meet and greets are a must and due to his breed you MUST own your own home!). Once your application has been approved, you get to take Kratos home that day! Any additional questions, please email Chris Browder at cbrowder@cityofshelbyvillein.com or call at (317) 392-5127.
