Meet Pongo, an energetic Dalmation/Labrador mix available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Pongo was found wandering the streets with his sister and partner-in-crime, Perdita, no identification and no one to claim them … it was as if they’d dropped from the sky. Perdita was quickly adopted as soon as her stray hold was over, but Pongo is still waiting to find his forever family. He has tons of energy and loves to play (his orange ball is his favorite) … it’s like he finally has the freedom to be a carefree dog and romp with joy! Pongo is under 40 pounds and would greatly benefit from a family that can take the time to teach him good leash manners and train him in some basic commands, he has so much potential! Pongo’s adoption fee is $95, which covers his mandatory neuter surgery, rabies/booster vaccinations, wormer, Home Again microchip and registration.
