Meet Ozzie, a sweet one-and-a-half year-old Cane Corso Mastiff available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Poor Ozzie was surrendered by a heartbroken owner after the owner’s twins were born premature and it was determined they would be in the NICU in Indianapolis for quite awhile. It was just way too much for the family to give him the care he needs AND take care of their precious babies, so now Ozzie is looking for a new home. Ozzie would be best as the only pet in the home, but he’s experienced with children between the ages of seven and 14. He’s housebroken, crate-trained and knows sit, stay and lay … he’s truly just a gentle giant looking for a forever family that will spoil him rotten! Are you the loving forever family that Ozzie deserves? Ozzie’s adoption fee is $135, which covers his mandatory neuter surgery (which has an added fee due to his extra large size), rabies/booster vaccinations, wormer, Home Again microchip and registration.
