Meet Salvation, a gorgeous blue/gray and white Pit Bull available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Poor Salvation (Sal, for short) finally found his way to the good people at the shelter in August after wandering the countryside for eight days with a MUZZLE over his face. He kept eluding capture (and who could blame his mistrust in people?!) and was gradually getting thinner and more weak over time. He was seen submerging his entire head in a bucket of water in an attempt to drink … isn’t that just heartbreaking? Over three months later, Sal has blossomed under the loving care of the shelter staff and glides like a dream on a leash, plus it was discovered he adores playing with toys! Are you the loving forever family that Sal so desperately needs and deserves? Salvation’s adoption fee is $95, which covers his mandatory neuter surgery, rabies/booster vaccinations, wormer, Home Again microchip and registration. Anyone interested in Salvation, please check the link above for hours of operation and adoption requirements (meet and greets are a must!). Once your application has been approved, you get to take Salvation home that day! Any additional questions, please email Chris Browder at firstname.lastname@example.org or call at (317) 392-5127. (Also, due to Sal being a Pit Bull, it’s very important to either own your home or have written permission from your landlord!)
Salvation is …
– incredibly deserving of a loving forever family after his prior abuse and neglect.
– great on a leash and loves toys!
– best as the only pet in the home.
*UPDATE: Salvation recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge … rest in peace, sweet boy.*
