Meet Rocko, a shy Boxer/Hound mix available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Rocko was brought in by a Good Samaritan who said he kept turning up in his yard to play with his dog, so now this sweetheart is at the shelter and has a chance to find his forever home! Rocko lacks confidence (though you can’t tell by the huge smile on his face!) and tends to trust other dogs much more quickly than humans. He’s good with kids, but would benefit the most from another doggy companion and a fenced-in yard for playtime! He’s been working hard on his leash skills and is learning that humans can be awesome, he just wants a chance to prove he can be the perfect canine companion! Are you in serious need of adding some awesome to YOUR family? Rocko’s adoption fee is $95, which covers his mandatory neuter surgery, rabies/booster vaccinations, wormer, Home Again microchip and registration.
