Meet Houdini, a friendly and curious domestic shorthair available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Houdini (or Father Houdini, as he’s called at the shelter) was relinquished by his owner along with his baby mama, Mercedes, and Calli the dog. Mercedes gave birth to five Houdini Juniors the day after arriving at the shelter and now the proud papa is ready to find his forever home! He’s a super sweet and curious cat who loves everyone, human and animal alike, but will need to be neutered … no more little Houdinis for this guy! Are you in need of a magical furry friend? Houdini’s adoption fee is $30, which covers his neuter surgery, rabies/booster vaccinations and wormer. Anyone interested in Houdini, please check the link above for hours of operation and adoption requirements (meet and greets are a must, especially if there are other pets in the home!).
