Meet Amelie (pronounced Ah-may-LEE), a beautiful two year-old bunny available for adoption through the Indiana House Rabbit Society! Poor Amelie (and fellow rescue, Didier) had a very rough start to life, living in an outdoor hutch with a wire bottom and no comforts that every house bunny deserves. Because of this treatment early in her life, she’s still learning to trust people and believe that they really do love her and want her to be happy! She now knows she doesn’t have to brace herself for thunderstorms or any other extreme weather and is enjoying having more space to run … who doesn’t love bunny binkies? If you want Amelie to be a part of your forever family, please fill out the adoption questionnaire and check the link on adopting a rabbit from the Indiana House Rabbit Society. Amelie’s adoption fee is $65 (which helps cover her spay surgery) and she’ll come home with a small bag of hay, a small bag of pellets and her veterinary history.
Amelie is …
– shy and still learning to trust people, so she would benefit from a calm, patient forever home where she can blossom and enjoy being a house bunny.
– litter-box trained.
– spayed.
I’ve included a link on keeping rabbits as pets from the Indiana House Rabbit Society … there’s tons of great information on their website!
