Meet Reddie, a sweet and playful five year-old Pit Bull mix available for adoption at the White River Humane Society! She quickly became a shelter staff favorite due to her loving nature and playful personality and she’s extremely gentle when taking treats. She isn’t afraid to let loose and get silly when romping around outdoors, but would do best in a home without any kitty siblings (they just look too fun to chase!). Are you the one who’s meant to be Reddie’s playmate and forever family? If you’re interested in learning more about Reddie or any of the other amazing animals at the shelter, please visit their website for information (including hours of operation) or call (812) 279-2457 with any questions. If you think you’ve seen your forever friend online, please fill out an adoption application (or you can also download a Microsoft Word version and email it to wrhsmgt@gmail.com); applications usually take 2-3 business days for approval and then he will need to be fixed before leaving the shelter. Adoption fees range from $50-$200 depending on breed and age and includes his neuter, vaccinations (DA2PP & Bordetella), deworming, rabies shot, microchip, heartworm test, a free vet visit to any Lawrence County veterinarian, 30 Days of free pet health insurance and an adoption goodie bag. (And don’t forget, you also get to take home your forever friend!)
