Meet Simba, a handsome nine year-old domestic shorthair available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Simba first came through the shelter doors back in 2014 after being relinquished from a home where he lived with two dogs … turns out Simba didn’t like being part of a pack with those two canines. He was then adopted by a nice young lady, but when she was recently faced with a move, she was forced to surrender him back to the shelter due to the fact that she was going to move in with someone that had a dog and Simba did NOT like the dog. He’s adjusted quite well to being back at the shelter and enjoys being lavished with attention … he loves people of all ages (including children!), just not other animals, so Simba will need to be an only pet! Do you want to make Simba part of your pride? Anyone interested in Simba, please check the link above for hours of operation and adoption requirements (meet and greets are a must!). Once your application has been approved, you get to take Simba home that day! Any additional questions, please email Chris Browder at cbrowder@cityofshelbyvillein.com or call at (317) 392-5127.
Simba is …
