Meet Ophelia, a timid six and a half year-old flame point Siamese available for adoption at the Hancock County Humane Society! Poor Ophelia was left behind when her family moved and was then picked up as a stray and brought to the shelter. It’s absolutely understandable that after being abandoned by her family Ophelia now has trust issues and can be shy with people and hiss when approached. Miss O would do best in a home with no children, as an only pet and with experienced cat owners who are willing to take their time and be patient with her as she learns to trust people again. As far as her physical health, despite the frost bite damage on the tips of her ears, she’s completely healthy! Do you think you’re the forever home that can open Ophelia’s heart to trust again? If you’re interested in adopting Ophelia, two shelter visits are required before the adoption can be completed and adoption fees vary based on age of cat, age of adopter, etc., so please click the link above for more information.
