Meet Britta! *UPDATE: ADOPTED!!!*

Meet Britta, a playful two year-old Boxer/Beagle mix available for adoption through Waldo’s Muttley Crew! Poor Britta had a very rough first year of life, living in a home with no electricity or running water until her owner became too severely ill and was unable to care for her. She was taken in by the rescue and over time was finally able to understand that there were kind people in the world who not only took care of dogs, but LOVED dogs! She’d had such little interaction with people before being taken in by the rescue, but slowly and surely, she warmed up to the volunteers and now enjoys the attention (especially ear scratches and butt rubs!), so much so that she would probably benefit by being the only fur baby in the house! It’s not that she doesn’t do well around other animals (she mostly ignores them), she just wants all the attention for herself! She’s doing very well with potty-training and learning leash manners and would do well with a forever family who would continue to take the time to work with her and have the time, love and patience to continue to train and praise her progress. Do you have the love in your heart and home to give Britta the life she so deserves? If you’re interested in giving Britta her forever home, please check out Waldo’s Muttley Crew online for adoption applications (there are both the online and downloadable versions) and any questions can be sent to wmc@waldosmuttleycrew.org. Britta’s adoption fee is $175.

Britta is …
– a bit of a shy girl after her rough upbringing and limited human interaction.
– best as an only dog (so she can have all your attention for herself!).
– doing well with her potty- and leash-training, but she’ll still need your encouragement!
– spayed.
– microchipped.
– up-to-date on her vaccinations and current on heartworm preventative.
