Meet Frick, a handsome nine year-old Maine Coon/Norweigan mix available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Frick’s owner surrendered him because he deserved more time than what she had for him … he’s in the right place waiting for his forever home! It was hard for him to adjust to the hectic schedule of an animal shelter, but he’s adapted quite well and is ready to find a forever home. He lived with another cat, though it passed away several years ago, and has never been around dogs, but he loves children! Frick is very mellow and a bit of a neat freak (which is a good thing, right?) … he also loves to explore his surroundings and is a complete sweetheart with his people. Are you Frick’s forever family? Anyone interested in Frick, please check the link above for hours of operation and adoption requirements (meet and greets are a must, especially if you have other pets!). Once your application has been approved, you get to take Frick home that day! Any additional questions, please email Chris Browder at cbrowder@cityofshelbyvillein.com or call at (317) 392-5127.
Frick is …
– mellow, sweet and one clean kitty!
– good with children and has never been around dogs, but would do best as an only kitty!

– up-to-date on vaccinations (he’s due for his rabies at the end of April) and wormed.
– negative for FIV/FeLV and heartworm
– FREE to his loving, forever home!
