Meet Capone Titus! *UPDATE: ADOPTED!!!*

Meet Capone Titus, an energetic three year-old Shepherd/Pit Bull mix available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! He was surrendered to the shelter after two years with his family because he and the family kitty didn’t get along, so Capone will need to be an only pet. He loves to snuggle, but is an overgrown puppy that’s strong on a leash and full of energy, so he’ll want a family who can play with him and give him plenty of opportunities to burn off some energy. This poor boy has been at the shelter over 200 days and is so ready to find his forever family … won’t someone give this bouncy sweetheart a chance? Anyone interested in Capone Titus, please check the link above for hours of operation and adoption requirements (meet and greets are a must!). Once your application has been approved, you get to take Capone home that day!  Any additional questions, please email Chris Browder at cbrowder@cityofshelbyvillein.com or call at (317) 392-5127.

Capone Titus is …
– a snuggler, but full of energy and needing a family who will keep him active.
– good with children, but needs to be an only pet.
– housebroken.
– neutered.
– microchipped.
– FREE to his future forever home!

The Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter is also the amazing place that saved Justice, the poor dog found abused, burned and abandoned in Shelby County back in November of 2018. If you would like to follow Justice’s amazing journey or find ways to help, here’s the link for the shelter’s Facebook page. (Warning: Some images of Justice are graphic and upsetting.)
