Meet Sassy! *UPDATE: ADOPTED!!!*

Meet Sassy, a nine-pound French/mini lop mix bunny available for adoption through A Critter’s Chance! Look at that adorable, grumpy face? Sassy came from a hoarding situation in Indianapolis and came to the rescue quite bossy, earning her name with her larger-than-life personality. She has tons of energy and loves to run around, so you’ll definitely stay entertained! If you’re interested in giving this sweet bunny her forever home, please contact Kelly Thomas with A Critter’s Chance rescue in Plainfield, either by phone [(765) 430-5610] or email (samboni95@gmail.com). Sassy’s adoption fee is $40.

Sassy is …
– two or three years old.
– dominant, so she would do well as an only rabbit or housed with extremely submissive bunnies.
– litter-box trained.
– spayed.
– better suited in a home with older children or adults. Rabbits are very fragile, so it’s very important that they’re in a home with people who can pick them up without fear of dropping them!

I’ve included links with more information about French lops and a list of things to consider before adopting a rabbit. Bunnies can live to be over 10 years old (similar to dogs and cats), so they are still a long-term commitment pet. Also keep in mind that rabbits have fragile hearts, so the noise level of their environment need to be kept in consideration!
