Meet Sisco, a medium-sized six year-old Plott Hound/Pit Bull Terrier mix currently residing at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter. Quite the shelter favorite, no one can understand why this handsome guy has been at the shelter since spring of 2018. Although he’s been in a home with other dogs and does well, his previous owner believes he would thrive as an only pet. And don’t let the Pit Bull part scare you, this sweetie loves to take walks and watch football while snuggling on the couch with his favorite person and pillow. Anyone interested in Sisco, please check the link above for hours of operation and adoption requirements (meet and greets are a must!). Once your application has been approved, you get to take your new friend home that day! Any additional questions, please email Chris Browder at cbrowder@cityofshelbyvillein.com or call at (317) 392-5127.
Sisco is …
– strong, but has GREAT leash skills.
– housebroken.
– crate-trained.
– neutered.
– microchipped.
– current on his boosters and is wormed.
– smart and knows the commands for sit, shake AND stay.
– FREE to his future forever home!
The Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter is also the amazing place that saved Justice, the poor dog found abused, burned and abandoned in Shelby County back in November of 2018. If you would like to follow Justice’s amazing journey or find ways to help, here’s the link for the shelter’s Facebook page. (Warning: Some images of Justice are graphic and upsetting.)
