Meet Rudyard, a playful one-and-a-half year-old German Shepherd mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Rudyard was very timid when he first came to the shelter and would stay close to his chosen person, but now that he’s had time to settle in he’s all smiles! Rudyard came in with a hematoma on his ear that causes his ear to fold, but it doesn’t bother him and adds some charm to his already sweet, smiling face! Rudyard loves to play with stuffed toys and would love a forever family that can spend time playing and snuggling with him. Rudyard is untested with children and other animals, so a meet-and-greet with ALL family members (furry and human) is a must! The world can be a jungle, how about having Rudyard become a part of your forever family and share his happiness? All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Rudyard’s adoption fee is $150, which covers his vaccinations, neuter surgery and microchip registration.
