Meet Brooks! *UPDATE: ADOPTED!!!*

Meet Brooks, a sweet nine month-old Harlequin mix available for adoption through the Indiana House Rabbit Society! Brooks was caught by a Good Samaritan after found running loose in a public park in the dead of winter and he’s getting used to the good life of a spoiled, indoor bun! Brooks is already almost eight pounds and he’ll end up being a big boy, so with his love of exploring he’ll need adequate exercise space. Brooks gets along great with the resident cat at the adoption center, but he will need time to adapt and warm up with his new forever family. Are you the forever family that can keep up with the active Brooks? If you want Brooks to be a part of your forever family, please fill out the adoption questionnaire and check the link on adopting a rabbit from the Indiana House Rabbit Society. Brooks’s adoption fee is $100 (which helps cover his neuter surgery) and he’ll come home with a small bag of hay, a small bag of pellets and his veterinary history.

Brooks is …
– a very sweet boy who enjoys exploring and will need plenty of exercise space as he’s going to be a big boy!
– good with cats.
– litter-box trained.
– neutered.
– fully vaccinated against RHDV2.

*I’ve included a link on keeping rabbits as pets from the Indiana House Rabbit Society … there’s tons of great information on their website! Please read this information thoroughly, especially if you are looking to adopt your first bunny! I personally have adopted from this rescue and it was such a wonderful experience!*
