Meet Akua!

Meet Akua, a curious 11 month-old dwarf mix available for adoption through the Indiana House Rabbit Society! Akua was rescued after running loose for a month and definitely enjoys the comforts of being a house rabbit! Akua can be a very shy girl and her foster family has said that it takes her time to warm up, but once she trusts you she loves to come over for attention and petting. She is also a very curious bun who loves to run and will need adequate exercise space. If you want Akua to be a part of your forever family, please fill out the adoption questionnaire and check the link on adopting a rabbit from the Indiana House Rabbit Society. Akua’s adoption fee is $100 (which helps cover her spay surgery) and she’ll come home with a small bag of hay, a small bag of pellets and her veterinary history.

Akua is …
– shy at first, but warms up quickly and enjoys attention and petting from her foster family.
– curious and loves to run, so she will need adequate exercise space.
– litter-box trained.
– spayed.
– fully vaccinated against RHDV2.

*I’ve included a link on keeping rabbits as pets from the Indiana House Rabbit Society … there’s tons of great information on their website! Please read this information thoroughly, especially if you are looking to adopt your first bunny! I personally have adopted from this rescue and it was such a wonderful experience!*
