Meet Oberon! *UPDATE: ADOPTED!!!*

Meet Oberon, a sweet two year-old domestic longhair cat available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Poor Oberon was in really rough shape when he first came to the shelter, dirty and matted, but he was always patient and friendly with the shelter staff. Oberon is very food-motivated, but he’s also friendly enough that he’ll come over for head scratches in between bites! Oberon has been through a lot and still needs time to adapt to new people and situations, so he’ll need space to warm up in his new home. Oberon is also untested with children and other animals, though with his need for space he would probably be best in a home without small children. Do you have room for this King of the Fairies in your heart and home? All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Oberon’s adoption fee is $50, which covers his vaccinations and neuter surgery.

Oberon is …
– very food-motivated, but loves to come over for love and head scratches between bites.
– untested with children and other animals, but due to his need for some personal space he would be best in a home without small children.
– litter-box trained.
– neutered.
– up-to-date on his vaccinations.
