Meet Millie, a playful 11 month-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Millie was brought into the shelter with another dog, Maeve (also up for adoption) and these two girls are inseparable! Although the shelter would love to see Millie and Maeve find a forever home together, it is not a requirement to adopt them as a bonded pair (but Millie would thrive with another dog in the home). Millie adores people and will happily play the part of a lap dog (even at 45 pounds!), but she is a more confident girl with another canine companion. All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet.
