Meet Doogie, an energetic six year-old Boxer/Feist mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Doogie was surrendered to the shelter with another dog after his owner passed away and he is more than ready to be loved by someone again! Doogie is a very playful boy who loves to run around and play with his toys, so he will need an active forever family that can keep up with him and nurture that playful spirit! Doogie came in with another dog, Charlie, and although it would be great if they could be adopted together, it’s not a requirement. Are you the forever family that the doctor ordered for Doogie? All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Doogie’s adoption fee is $150, which covers his vaccinations, neuter surgery and microchip registration.
