Meet Napoleon, a perfectly precious five year-old pot-bellied pig available for adoption at Oinking Acres Farm Rescue & Sanctuary! I don’t know if I can properly express the awesomeness that is Napoleon … extremely sweet and good-natured, calm and relaxed with kids and other animals, 100% housebroken and he’s perfectly content finding a quiet place to nap. So many of the older pigs get overlooked when someone wants to add a pig to their family, but Napoleon is as close to perfect as you could possibly hope to find … please consider adopting an older pig! Pot-bellied pigs are similar to dogs in the sense that they can be house-trained, leash-trained and can learn tricks, but they’re also very stubborn and sensitive. The average lifespan of a pot-bellied pig is anywhere from 12 to 20 years and if you put in the time and love with your little oinker, you’ll have the undying love and loyalty of your pig. Napoleon is neutered and microchipped and is more than ready to find his forever home.
