Meet Doc, a goofy and playful five to seven year-old Boxer available for adoption through Canine Castaways Rescue! Poor Doc was used as a breeding dog and was continually starved and neglected, so he feels a little scared when he meets new people. If you give him treats and pet him gently, though, he warms right up and if you have a ball for him … game on! This sweetheart lets his goofy side show when he has a chance to play, so his forever family had better be ready to throw a ball around and let him be silly. Are you the loving home that the Doc ordered? If you’re interested in Doc and want to learn more, please call (317) 345-6578 and/or email shelly@caninecastawaysrescue.org. You can also fill out an adoption application on the rescue’s website – there is a $10 nonrefundable application. Doc’s adoption fee is $250.
